Ceramic Pro 9h: Porsche 718 Cayman

We have just finished this beautiful 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman, with every single panel protected with Ceramic Pro 9h.

While the condition of the vehicle was good, the new owner had highlighted some existing scratches and wash damage.

Despite being in a colour that can hide damage and imperfections quite well, was in need of a full correction polish for 2 reasons:

1 – The existing damage was quite severe on the rear offside bumper.

2 – Ceramic Pro 9h, unlike many ceramic coatings on the market, is completely permanent and any existing damage will be incredibly hard to remedy once the coating has fully hardened.

This model is Agate Grey Metallic is a great colour for a car that will be driven regularly.

We love talking to car owners regarding the colour choice, and while you should not be put off by solid Black, deep Blue or Red, for example, you must be aware that these colours need protection from day one and regular care to keep them looking new.

As we mentioned briefly, ceramic coatings can only do so much to protect your vehicle, and while they do a better job than clear coat alone, cannot completely prevent stone chips from occurring.

With this in mind, we always remind customers that Ceramic coatings and paint protection film (PPF), can be installed side by side on your car, with no visible difference to the finish.
