Mercedes AMG C63s – XPEL Ultimate Plus

We have just finished this beautiful Mercedes C63s, with every single panel protected with Xpel Ultimate Plus paint protection film.

While the vehicle’s condition was good, the new owner had highlighted some existing stone chips and wanted to avoid getting anything further which could spoil the finish. In this blog, we will share our experiences, tech specs and some truly interesting features of this superb vehicle.

Mercedes C63s Technical specifications

Engine – 4.0 litre V8 Bi-Turbo
Power – 450 bhp
Max Torque – 516 (Nm)
Acceleration (0-60mph) – 3.9 seconds
Top Speed – 180mph
Fuel Consumption – 27 mpg
Transmission – 7 speed Dual Clutch

Black is probably the most impressive colour on a modern vehicle, but if you choose this finish, especially solid black, you must be prepared to invest in protecting and maintaining it, otherwise, choose another colour!

The primer underneath the paint colour is white, and really stands out once a stone chip or deep scratch is inflicted and can spoil the beauty of the car with even the smallest area of damage.
As we mentioned briefly, a ceramic coating can only do so much to protect your vehicle, and if protecting the cars future value and aesthetic is your primary concern, then paint protection film is the only solution.

One of the most impressive things about Xpel Paint Protection Film (PPF), is it has the ability to hide swirls and scratches, and while this car came to us in a good condition, the PPF takes
the paintwork to another level of perfection. By self-levelling across the surface it is applied to, the result is a finish that is better than brand new and protected against almost anything the open road can throw at it. This is why we install Xpel PPF exclusively.

Keep an eye out for our next ppf blog, featuring more stunning cars.
